Remediation of a former Marijuana Grow Operation (MGO)

CLIENT SECTOR:	Property Management
BACKGROUND:	A house sustained a MGO, the owner defaulted on the mortgage and the bank/property manager now needs to remediate the property to ensure the occupancy permit is re-issued and the home can be sold.
SOLUTION:	Assessment of the house to identify all mould, pesticide and fertilizer contamination. Preparation of detailed remediation protocols and specifications for tendering. Supervision of the remediation of the property by a qualified contractor. Conducted a final inspection and testing for pesticides, fertilizers and mould.
OUTCOME:	All contamination properly remediated and properties documents filed with the municipality and the BC Ministry of Environment indicating the property was successfully remediated. The house sold to a new and happy owner.
