Message from the Founder 2011

Exciting changes are taking place, here at Pacific Environmental, and it is because of our loyal clients that we can continue to expand our range of services, as well as the areas that we serve. I wish to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your ongoing support for this company. We will continue to serve you with the quality service that not only do you expect from us, but that we demand from ourselves.

This year is shaping up to be a big year for us - we introduced a new website (that you are currently viewing) and gained new owners. While new owners might seem like the end of an era to some, we are extremely happy about the acquisition. Total Safety acquired our company for the people who work here and the expertise that they bring and not based on any successes that we may have had. It is good to know that you have a company like that standing behind your team.

As for the relationship, Pacific brings strategic operational capabilities and professional services expertise to Total Safety in not only new markets, but a new country, and Total Safety brings a wealth of resources and international opportunities, not to mention the potential for staff growth, to the table. Total Safety recognised that with their help and support of our clients, Pacific Environmental can continue to grow stronger in the BC marketplace each year.

As the environmental consulting industry continues to change and adapt to new challenges, Pacific continues to be at the forefront of these changes. In 2010, we were involved in a WorkSafe BC industry group, discussing the development of the new lead and asbestos exposure guidelines and initiatives along with silica exposure, wood dust and other workplace exposures, and, in our opinion, will be the focus of the regulatory process for 2011/2012.

As the company grows, our staff continues to grow and develop at a personal level with a number of our people, once again, expected to challenge the Canadian Registered Safety Professional exams, the Professional Engineers examinations, and the AIHA examinations this year, with the full support of the company. It is extremely important to Pacific that staff continue to grow and develop, not only for personal or corporate reasons, but to ensure that we remain a leader in our field by having well-trained professional staff who are up-to-date with current regulatory issues and solutions to better serve you, our client.

Thank you again for the ongoing support for our team and this company. We look forward to serving you.
